💡 Things we pay attention to
Meta unveils Orion AR glasses, aiming to rival smartphones

Meta unveiled its first prototype of augmented reality (AR) glasses, called Orion, emphasizing future possibilities for blending the virtual and real worlds with holograms.
The Orion glasses are made of magnesium alloy and feature hand-tracking, voice, and neural interface technology, with plans for future enhancements to make them more affordable and consumer-ready by 2027.
Alongside the AR glasses, Meta showcased new AI chatbot features and a Quest mixed-reality headset, with the company's stock reaching a record high of $568.31 following the event.
OpenAI CTO Mira Murati set to depart amid organizational shake-up

OpenAI's Chief Technology Officer Mira Murati announced her resignation, following a series of high-profile departures, signaling internal turmoil within the company as it faces significant structural changes and leadership instability.
The company's proposed restructuring into a for-profit benefit corporation and a potential shift in governance and mission have raised concerns, with Murati's exit potentially linked to disagreements over OpenAI's direction and growing emphasis on commercial interests.
Google Photos rolls out new AI video editing tools

Google Photos is introducing new video editing features for Android and iOS, enhancing ease of use and adding AI-powered tools to simplify editing.
Key updates include an improved user interface, more precise trim controls, an auto-enhance tool for color adjustments and stabilization, and speed control for modifying playback pace.
AI-powered video presets will allow automatic trimming, lighting adjustments, dynamic motion tracking, and other effects, helping users create professional-quality videos with minimal effort. The rollout is starting with Android and will soon extend to iOS.
🏆 30-day AI to Profit Challenge
Leverage the TikTok Creative Center Tool to identify trending products and demand.
Step 1: Set Your Focus for Week One
In this phase, we’ll focus on discovering potential product ideas quickly. Since time is limited and building brand credibility takes longer, it’s essential to identify what’s already selling well in the market.
Step 2: Explore TikTok Creative Center
One of the tools I use is the TikTok Creative Center, which provides data on top-performing ads across different categories. Here’s how to use it:

Browse Top Ads: Start by selecting a product category (e.g., baby accessories, food, beverages, or pet products). Look for lightweight, easy-to-ship items with lower pricing to test the market quickly.
Analyze Click-Through Rates (CTR): Pay attention to the CTR of ads. A high CTR with relatively few likes could indicate an undervalued ad that’s performing well.
Review Watch Time and Conversions: Ads that maintain conversions throughout the video—especially near the end—are typically more effective.
Step 3: Identify Early Market Opportunities
Avoid highly mature markets where big players have already invested large sums (e.g., $500K or more). Instead, focus on products that are showing early signs of demand, giving newcomers a chance to enter and compete.
Step 4: Repeat the Process
Continue to explore different ads, focusing on emerging trends and early demand signals. Use the data to refine your product ideas and prepare for the next stage of product development.
